Pointe du Lac Créteil, France
Pointe du Lac were dreamed into being by French musicians Julien Lheuillier and Richard Francés. More prosaically it is also
the name of a metro station in the east of Paris. Their recently released debut album was constructed from the seemingly contrasting elements of ambient synthesizers and repetitive rhythm sequences, while referencing krautrock and more current sounds.

To me, this album has all the right ingredients and shares the likeness of those really obscure Kosmische albums from Germany's fruitful heyday. The only catch is that this is from France. Au Revoir!
